 Toronto Housing Company.

This work involved a review of a pilot ESCO project conducted for 13 public housing buildings.  It included review and comment on ESCO cost and savings reports, analysis of ESCO compliance with contract terms, and advice on various contract matters.  This ongoing work began in 2000.

Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA)

This project involved a review of all the facilities of CCRA to determine the feasibility and potential for energy efficiency improvements and whether energy performance contracting would be the appropriate means of obtaining a reduction of energy costs and greenhouse-gas emissions. Natural Resources Canada commissioned the work.

Town of Perth, Ontario

The Town of Perth had committed to becoming a total Green Community.  Among many other initiatives was the desire to implement an energy performance contract.  What was different in this situation was that the municipality planned to enter into an energy performance contract for its own facilities, but have the option to have the Energy Service Company contract with private-sector owners in the Town.

The work done included the development of a Request for Proposal to encompass the Green Community concept, evaluate the proposals and assist the Town of Perth with the contract.

Federation of Canadian Municipalities

This work involved preparation of model contracting documents (RFP and Contract) for energy performance contracting services, which could be used by large or small municipalities.

City of Ottawa

This project involved working with the city on energy performance contracting as well as providing them with contractual documentation regarding the monitoring and verification of savings.
